This fully overhauled 2.9 L carburetor engine fits Bukhanka Classic and Hunter & 469 series with 2.9 L carburetor engines. OEM reference 421800, it is professionally rebuilt for performance and longevity, offering a significant upgrade over the older 2.4 L variant. Delivered dry (without oil), it is ready for installation and break-in, making it ideal for restorations or engine swaps.

Includes: New main, conrod, and axial bearings; piston rings; rebuilt cylinder head; full gasket kit; silicone valve cover and oil pan seals; ignition set with hall sensor, ignition wires, spark plugs; oil pump; starter; flywheel (new teeth and reground surface); carburetor; thermostat; water pump; camshaft gear (textolite); silicone hoses with 8 clamps; oil valve; air filter; oil filter; new hardware

This part fits all classic UAZ vehicles with 2.9 L carburetor engines.
Installation tips:
Fill with 5 liters of 10W-40 or 15W-40 oil before first startup. After 500 km, retorque the cylinder head and adjust valve clearances. Repeat valve adjustment at 10,000 km. Replace oil and filter after 500 km, again at 5,000 km, then every 10,000 km.
When to upgrade?
Upgrade if your current engine shows low compression, high oil consumption, or poor performance. This revised unit restores factory-spec power and reliability, making it ideal for long-term use, off-road travel, or heavy load applications.

Order Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after 14:00 (CET), on weekends or public holidays will ship the next business day.
- If an item is out of stock or custom-made, we will notify you within 24 hours.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:
- Destination country
- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
