This front axle knuckle seal fits Bukhanka Classic (2.4L & 2.9L), Bukhanka Modern (2.7L), and Hunter & 469 (2.4L, 2.7L & 2.9L) models. OEM reference 69-2304057, it is installed in the upper steering knuckle gland of the front axle. Its function is to retain grease inside the knuckle housing while sealing out water, mud, and debris, ensuring smooth and reliable steering articulation under demanding driving conditions.
Why choose this knuckle seal?
The steering knuckle is a critical component exposed to high stress and constant contamination risk. A worn seal allows grease to escape and dirt to enter, accelerating wear on ball joints and axle components. This OEM-spec replacement restores original sealing performance, providing long-lasting protection against leaks and ensuring reliable steering in both road and off-road use. Built to exact tolerances, it integrates seamlessly into the UAZ axle design and is also included in complete front axle seal kits.

Installation tips:
Remove the old seal completely and clean the knuckle bore to bare metal. Inspect the housing for scoring or corrosion. Lightly grease the new seal’s lip to aid installation and prevent dry running. Press the seal evenly into the gland using a flat tool or driver. Once assembled, refill the knuckle with fresh grease according to the service manual and cycle the steering to check for proper sealing.
When to replace?
Replace if grease leakage is visible around the upper knuckle joint or during any steering knuckle overhaul. For preventive maintenance, renew the seal every 80,000–100,000 km, or sooner if the vehicle is frequently exposed to mud, water crossings, or heavy off-road conditions. Regular replacement prevents costly wear and ensures steering reliability.

Order Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after 14:00 (CET), on weekends or public holidays will ship the next business day.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
