This exhaust gasket fits Bukhanka Classic (2.4L & 2.9L) as well as Hunter & 469 (2.4L & 2.9L) models, with OEM reference 42.9. It is specifically designed to seal the exhaust manifold to the downpipe or mid-pipe, ensuring gas-tight operation, correct backpressure, and protection against leaks. For the 2.9 L carburetor engine in particular, this gasket is the correct factory-specified part and should be used instead of the smaller 2.4 L version.

Installation tips:
Remove the old gasket completely and clean both flange surfaces before fitting. Ensure there is no carbon buildup or distortion of the mating surfaces. Place the gasket squarely in position and tighten the bolts gradually in sequence to avoid warping. After the engine has gone through its first heat cycle, recheck bolt torque to maintain a secure seal. Sealant is not required unless specifically recommended by your gasket supplier.
When to replace or why upgrade?
Exhaust gaskets should be replaced whenever the manifold or pipe connection is disassembled, or if there are symptoms such as exhaust noise, visible leaks, or fumes in the engine bay. A failed gasket can lead to reduced engine performance, overheating, or damage to surrounding components. Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
