This timing cover gasket fits Patriot, Profi, Hunter & 469 (2.7L), and Bukhanka Modern (2.7L) models with ZMZ 405/406/409 petrol engines. It seals the left-hand timing chain cover to prevent oil seepage and to keep the timing assembly clean and protected.
Why choose this timing cover gasket?
A crisp, correctly cut gasket is essential to stop oil misting at the front of the engine. Replacing it during chain/guide service reduces the risk of repeat work, keeps auxiliaries clean, and helps maintain correct oil level and pressure.

Installation tips:
Work on a cool engine. Clean both mating faces thoroughly and remove old sealant without scratching the aluminum. Test-fit the gasket dry; no RTV is normally required. Tighten cover bolts evenly in a criss-cross pattern to avoid warping and check the guides and crank seal while the cover is off.
When to replace / Why upgrade
Replace whenever the cover has been opened for chain work or if you notice dampness or oil tracks along the left timing cover. A fresh gasket restores a tight seal, preventing leaks and protecting the timing components.

Order Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after 14:00 (CET), on weekends or public holidays will ship the next business day.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
