This universal joint cross kit fits GAZ Series and is used in the propeller shaft (driveshaft) to transfer torque smoothly while allowing movement and angle changes in the drivetrain. Worn universal joints can cause vibration, clunking on take-off, and noticeable play in the shaft. This set is supplied as a complete cross with bearing cups and oil seals, making it suitable for a proper refresh when the joint is dry, noisy, or has looseness.

Replacing the cross together with bearings and seals helps restore tight, smooth operation and reduces the chance of repeat repairs caused by reusing worn cups or damaged seals. A fresh joint can also reduce drivetrain vibration and protect the driveshaft yokes from further wear.

Installation tips:
Press the bearing cups in carefully and keep the needle bearings aligned to avoid crushing them. After assembly, make sure the joint moves freely in all directions without binding, and recheck circlip seating if your yoke uses retaining clips.
When to replace / Why upgrade
Replace the joint if you feel play when twisting the shaft by hand, hear clunks during gear changes, or have new vibrations that increase with speed. A complete kit is the safest option when seals are leaking or contamination has entered the bearings.

Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs

Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
