Installation tips:
The sensor mounts in the coolant outlet area, often near the thermostat housing. Clean the thread seat before installation and, if required, apply light PTFE tape or OEM-approved sealant. Screw in by hand, then snug with a wrench—do not overtighten to protect the threads. Reconnect the single-pin connector securely. After installation, start the engine and observe the gauge: it should activate with ignition and move gradually into the normal range as the engine warms. If the gauge remains inactive or unstable, recheck connections or replace the sensor.
When to replace?
Replace if the gauge consistently reads cold, spikes abnormally, or fails to register stable temperature during normal driving. Age-related wear, corrosion, or electrical faults inside the sensor often cause misreadings. Preventive replacement is advised every few years to ensure dependable cooling system monitoring and early detection of overheating.

Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
