This hydraulic tensioner cover gasket is designed for UAZ vehicles equipped with the ZMZ-409 2.7L injection engine, including Bukhanka Modern, Hunter & 469, Patriot, and Profi. It provides an oil-tight seal between the hydraulic chain tensioner housing and the engine block, preventing leaks and ensuring the timing system maintains correct tension under all operating conditions.

This gasket fits all modern UAZ vehicles equipped with the ZMZ-409 2.7L injection engine.
Installation tips:
Remove the hydraulic tensioner cover and scrape away all old gasket material. Clean both block and cover surfaces to ensure a flat contact. Align the new gasket carefully with bolt holes and dowel pins. Apply oil-resistant sealant only if recommended by the factory manual. Torque bolts evenly to specification to avoid distortion of the cover.
When to replace?
Replace whenever the hydraulic tensioner is serviced, or if oil seepage is visible at the tensioner housing. Common signs of gasket failure include oil stains on the front engine housing or reduced chain tension stability. It is also recommended as preventive maintenance during major service intervals around 100,000 km.

Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:
- Destination country
- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
