Installation tips:
Raise the vehicle securely on axle stands before beginning work. Remove the drum and shoes carefully, then unbolt and disconnect the old cylinder. Clean the brake backing plate surface thoroughly before installing the new part. Align and secure the cylinder, reconnect the brake line, and check for leaks. Finally, bleed the brake system using DOT-4 brake fluid to remove air and restore firm pedal feel. Always adjust drum brakes during servicing for optimal performance.
When to replace or upgrade?
Replace the wheel cylinder if brake fluid leakage is visible, if the brake pedal feels soft or spongy, or if rear braking becomes uneven. Preventative replacement is recommended after 40,000–80,000 km, particularly in humid conditions where seals deteriorate faster. Renewal is also advised whenever drum brake shoes are replaced or the hydraulic system shows signs of contamination.

Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
