Installation tips:
Lift and secure the vehicle before removing the worn tie rod end. Loosen the locking nut, unscrew the old part, and clean the mating threads thoroughly. Lightly grease the new ball joint stud, then thread the replacement part into the tie rod or drag link until properly seated. Torque the lock nut to the factory specification and check wheel alignment to maintain correct steering geometry.
When to replace?
Tie rod ends should be replaced if there is noticeable steering play, uneven tire wear, noise during cornering, or visible rubber boot damage. Typical replacement intervals are 80,000–100,000 km, though frequent off-road or rough-road driving may require earlier servicing. Replacing on time prevents excessive wear in other steering components and ensures safe handling.

Order Processing Times

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:

- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
