They restore proper oil clearance and support for the crankshaft, ensuring smooth engine operation and reliable lubrication.
Why choose these 0.25 mm crankshaft bearing shells?
When journals are reground during an overhaul, standard bearings can no longer maintain correct oil film thickness. These OEM-spec 0.25 mm undersize bearings provide exact fitment for machined crankshafts, helping to maintain oil pressure, reduce friction, and extend engine life.

Installation tips:
Thoroughly clean journals and bearing bores. Use plastigauge to confirm clearance (~0.025–0.040 mm). Lubricate with assembly oil, align oil holes, and torque bearing caps evenly to specification. Rotate the crankshaft by hand to check for free movement before completing assembly.
When to replace?
Use these bearings whenever the crankshaft has been reground to 0.25 mm undersize, or when wear and low oil pressure indicate replacement is needed. Recommended during rebuilds, especially above 150,000 km or after overheating.

Order Processing Times
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Orders placed after 14:00 (CET), on weekends or public holidays will ship the next business day.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on:
- Destination country
- Total weight and dimensions
- Shipping method selected (Standard or Express)
Large, heavy or oversized items (e.g. bumpers, roof racks) may incur surcharges. For bulk shipments or pallets, contact us for a custom freight quote.
Duties, VAT & Customs
EU Customers: No customs or import fees apply. All shipments are sent from the Netherlands.
Non-EU Customers (e.g. UK, Norway, Switzerland): Import duties, VAT, and local handling charges are not included and must be paid by the recipient. Refusal to pay these charges may result in the shipment being returned or destroyed, which is outside our responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking link. All shipments are:
- Fully trackable
- Insured against loss or damage
- Delivered with signature or collection point confirmation
Please track your shipment proactively. Missed deliveries may require collection from a local pickup point.
Delivery Issues & Returns
UAZPARTS.COM is not liable for delays or failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
- Unclaimed packages returned to sender
- Customs clearance delays (for non-EU destinations)
- Force majeure events (strikes, weather, etc.)
If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery, we will contact you to arrange reshipment at your expense. Unclaimed or refused shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs.
Damaged Shipments
Upon delivery, inspect your package carefully. If damaged:
- Report the issue to the courier immediately
- Take clear photos of the outer box, label, and item
- Contact us at info@uaz-specials.com within 48 hours
Damage claims submitted later than 48 hours may be denied by the carrier and are outside our liability.
